Friday Five: Choices
Oct. 11th, 2024 11:00 am1. If you could live in any city in the world, where would you live and why?
Of the places I've been... I'm gonna go with Venice. It's just such a beautiful, interesting place. I'd say NYC, but like. That's realistic. I have lived in NYC and can definitely potentially do so again in my life, whereas Venice or Tokyo or London or wherever are all more pie-in-the-sky.
2. If you could speak any language fluently, what would it be?
Chinese. Fuck knows I'm working hard enough to learn it.
3. When was the last time you rode a ferry and where did you go?
I took the Staten Island Ferry last summer, for funsies because it's a pretty ride and I thought my kids would like it.
4. What was the longest plane ride you've ever taken?
My flight from HK to NYC, with a layover for refueling in Vancouver. That was like. well over 12 hours.
5. If you discovered a country, what would you name it?
Mitch.
