1. What are you currently reading?

I started The Husky and His White Cat Shizun vol. 7 by Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat. This volume will be full of knives. I know what the knives are because I have read it before. I am nonetheless unprepared for the knives.

2. What have you recently finished reading?

I finished Delta of Venus by Anais Nin, which means I've officially read everything that was in my TBR at the start of the year! Doesn't mean I have no TBR of course, but. It has been fully theseus'd and can be considered an entirely new TBR now.

Graphic Novels:

• Apothecary Diaries vol. 5 to 7 by Natsu Hyuuga: I'm enjoying this but I'm wishing the relationships between the characters would develop faster. I don't mean romantic even, I just mean. literally their relationships growing and changing faster.
• My Hero Academia vol. 23 by Kohei Horkoshi: well, vol. 22 held my interest just enough that I didn't decide to put the series aside, but vol. 23 did not reward that, and I'm taking a break. I'm just not invested enough in any of what's going on to want to continue. Maybe I'll come back to it, maybe I won't. (this always happens to me with long shounen series.)
• I Think Our Son is Gay vol. 3 by Okura: continues to be cute. This volume dealt more with homophobia stuff from the mc's dad, so. that was a little rough.

3. What will you be reading next?

For books, I doubt I'll finish 2ha vol. 7 this week, so it hardly matters, but either The Fall of the House of Tatterly by Shanna Miles (I technically started this Sunday but didn't have as much reading time as expected so I only read a chapter and I decided to put it aside and start over when I'd be focusing on it) or The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish vol. 3 by Xue Shan Fei Hu. For graphic novels, I'll be finishing the volumes of The Apothecary Diaries that I borrowed (through vol. 11) and then I've got Haikyu vol. 16 by Haruichi Furudate and the first two volumes of Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto from the library.
